1 – Who are we?
Forward Global is a simplified joint-stock company with share capital of €36,965,432, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 835004094, with its registered office at 17 Avenue Hoche, 75008 PARIS.
Except where otherwise specified, we are the data controller within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), for procedures and processing of personal data.
As such, we undertake to comply with the applicable legal framework and, in particular, to take all reasonable measures to ensure the accuracy and relevance of personal data in relation to the purposes for which Forward Global processes them.
2 – Scope of application
This Policy applies to the website europe.forum-incyber.com
3 – Types of personal data collected and the legal basis for processing
For the collection of personal data linked to your Internet browsing (cookies), please consult our dedicated cookie management policy.
We also collect the data you send us for specific purposes:
- Professional data enabling you to register for our various events (first name, last name, job title, company, phone, business email) so that you can access and receive the information necessary for your participation (e.g., badge creation) and to enable us to organize the events for which you are registered. The legal basis for these processing operations is the contract governing your participation in our events (the “Registration Terms”). The same applies to any registrations for various workshops, symposia, competitions, challenges, round tables, etc. organized within the INCYBER Forum and related events.
- Depending on the venues where events take place and the presence of public figures that may justify specific security procedures for access, official data and documents enabling verification of your identity (ID card, etc.) and access control. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest, or in certain particular cases, compliance with a legal obligation.
- Data to identify you (first name, last name, job title, company, phone, business email) in order to invite you to future events that we or some of our partners will organize on similar topics and, more broadly, to carry out B2B prospecting (newsletters, publications) on related themes. The legal basis for processing your professional data for this purpose is our legitimate interest.
- Log files from visits to our websites (registration site, etc.) to optimize their operation and facilitate interactions with our services and the information we provide (browser language, presumed country of consultation, pages visited, etc.), and also to secure said sites. The information collected may include IP addresses assigned to your devices by your internet service provider, your operating system, your web browser, your hardware and software configuration, and the date and time of consultation. All such processing is carried out on the legal basis of our legitimate interest.
Note: fields marked with an asterisk (*) in our various collection forms are required in order to process your request.
4 – Confidentiality and security measures
We take all reasonable (physical, technical, organizational) measures to protect your data at the time of transmission, in particular against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, via security measures such as vulnerability detection and deployment of the HTTPS protocol in accordance with industry best practices.
5 – Sharing to social networks where you have an account
From our websites, we have provided you with the ability to easily share the pages you view on your preferred social networks. Using buttons that provide access to social networks may lead to the collection and exchange of certain data between those networks and the group’s websites.
Our site therefore uses social “plug-ins” or modules on its various pages (e.g., “share” buttons from social networks such as Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.). When you view a page on one of our sites containing such social modules, a connection is automatically established with the servers of the social networks (Facebook, X/Twitter, etc.), which may then be informed that you accessed the corresponding page of our site.
If you wish to limit the information published or known by these social networks, we recommend logging out of them before visiting our site. In addition, it is your responsibility to set appropriate permissions regarding access to your personal data on these social networks and to review their privacy policies.
6 – Rights of access, rectification and erasure
You have the right:
- To be informed about how your data are processed
- To access your data
- To object, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of your data
- To withdraw your consent at any time where the use of your data is based on your consent
- To restrict certain uses of your data
- To rectify inaccurate information and to request that certain information be deleted
- To contest how your personal data are processed
- To benefit from the right to data portability (in cases where we rely on your consent or on the performance of pre-contractual measures as the legal basis for the processing performed)
- To set instructions concerning the fate of your personal data after your death, pursuant to Article 32 of the Law of 6 January 1978.
7 – Contact us
